The correct workflow is: first click [Update Settings] to save, then click [Test Connection] to verify that the settings can connect normally.
You can ask the AI: "I clicked test connection without updating the settings first. Will it test the new settings?" The AI would respond: "No, test connection only sends an actual request using the settings already saved to the upstream system. Changes on the screen that haven't been saved by clicking [Update Settings] are not included in the test. Please update the settings first before testing."
