After clicking "Check Rate", each UPS service (Worldwide Express, Worldwide Saver, Expedited, etc.) shows three numbers: • List Price: UPS's published rate for customers without account discounts. • Discount: The negotiated discount your company has with UPS, shown as amount and percentage. • Negotiated Rate (Actual Charge): List Price minus Discount—the amount your company will actually be charged.
After selecting a service, you can expand "Fee Breakdown" to see the raw details UPS returns: base shipping, surcharges (fuel surcharge, remote area surcharge, peak season surcharge, oversized package fee, etc.), tax, and total including tax. UPS calculates surcharges based on destination, package size, and time period. Patisco simply displays them as-is so you can verify against your UPS invoice.
After creating a shipping label, the result screen shows the same three lines, ensuring you won't see the negotiated rate during rate check but the list price on the label.
