The shipping fee displayed on screen, which is what you will be charged, equals: UPS negotiated rate × (1 + Shino System's announced markup percentage). The amount shown when checking rates and creating bills of lading is this calculated figure, labeled "Shipping Fee (Shino System Invoice)".
Shino Soft Co., Ltd. issues the invoice based on your company's actual usage. Shino Soft advances the shipping fee to UPS at the time of shipment. Any fees subsequently adjusted by UPS—such as fuel surcharge, remote area surcharge, address correction fee, or weight/dimension verification adjustments—are adjusted according to UPS's actual charges.
Voided bills of lading incur no charge if UPS has not yet collected payment. For shipments already picked up, already charged, or resulting in return shipping fees, charges are calculated based on UPS's actual invoice. If UPS charges a pickup fee for scheduled pickups, that is also calculated according to UPS's invoice.
