Writing only "corrugated board" is a waste. Material details are themselves supporting evidence and should be proactively included, such as: • Number of plies, flute type, whether recycled paper is used • Whether there are metal components (copper nails, staples) • Ink usage, whether water-based • Material and thickness of plastic components • Whether each component can be manually separated (separability is very useful for recyclability assessment)
At the same time, it is recommended to include the weight or proportion of each component. Recyclability and recycled content are assessed separately by material, so a Declaration listing only material names without weights or proportions will often be rejected by the EU buyer's compliance department.
