Disruptive innovation doesn't originally mean spending heavily on new technology development. It means serving previously overlooked markets in new ways, or solving existing problems with lower barriers to entry. For Taiwan's SMEs, this usually doesn't require starting from scratch. Instead, it means reassessing your position in the supply chain: which steps matter most to buyers? Which information transparency or response speed can you achieve better than competitors? Many traditional manufacturers already have deep expertise in products and processes. The real gap is often in "making it easier for buyers to find you and easier to do business with you"—including quotation processes, product information accessibility, and speed of response to buyer inquiries. These changes have relatively low barriers but directly impact conversion rates.
