Do all European retailers have the same view on the E-Bike market?

No. The interviewed shops show quite different perspectives that deserve separate analysis. Westside Bike & Snow experienced E-Bike demand surge driven by pandemic and low-cost commuting needs, showing clear growth. Le fiets' store manager states E-Bikes have high margins and are worth prioritizing, and notes that early spec confusion has been resolved by market selection, leaving relatively stable brands. In contrast, Bike corner's owner avoids E-Bikes entirely because components are standardized with little room for customization. These three positions reflect different business models: mainstream commute market, profit-focused retail, and personalized niche positioning. The suitable supplier type for each is completely different. Taiwan manufacturers should first identify which positioning a European buyer fits before deciding how to approach them. Using the same pitch for every shop will not work.
