This is a shared challenge faced by many Taiwanese export enterprises and often the most overlooked hidden cost of overseas expansion. Common situations include: different product information versions being provided to different markets and customers; quotations requiring multiple back-and-forth confirmations, lowering efficiency; different customers using different document formats, making standardization difficult; transaction history scattered across various emails, spreadsheets, or personal computers, preventing effective accumulation; and customer relationships and communication history disappearing when sales staff leave. These issues compound, making it difficult for enterprises to replicate successful patterns to other markets or channels despite investing heavily in market development. The root cause is: the ability to find customers and the ability to continuously manage markets are two different capabilities. Many enterprises invest heavily in the former but fail to simultaneously build the foundation for the latter.
