How is Patisco's "Buyer Management" different from a typical CRM?

Patisco's buyer management—found under [Buyer Management] on the left sidebar (suppliers use [Seller Management])—is directly connected to transactions, functioning as more than just a contact list: - Connection: Send invitations; once the other party accepts, both parties conduct inquiries, quotations, and POs within the same system. Each document has a copy on both sides, and changes must be sent, compared, and confirmed. - Each buyer receives a set of trading conditions (currency, price tier, trading terms, payment methods, inventory visibility, etc.) and a catalog that determines the prices and products they can see. - The detail page has six quick links for POs, PIs, quotations, inquiries, shipments, and catalogs, showing the count of each related to this buyer. - Business cards maintained by the other party can be synced to your records; shipping addresses can be saved as templates and automatically populated when creating documents. - You can assign a responsible team member (contact person), so general employees only see buyers they are responsible for.
