Expansion decisions shouldn't be based on gut feeling. There are actually several data dimensions worth examining: First, the geographic distribution of existing orders and inquiries—if a particular country or region already has customers reaching out, even if transaction volumes are small, it signals real demand; Second, website traffic source location, tracking which regions' visitors are browsing your product pages but haven't yet converted to inquiries—these are untapped potential markets; Third, product search behavior and customer feedback, compiling which items or specifications customers frequently ask for but you don't yet offer can serve as a basis for adding new product lines. Cross-referencing these multiple dimensions is far more reliable than relying solely on sales team intuition or trade show impressions, and makes it easier to justify resource allocation internally.
