Traditional CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems like Salesforce or Oracle do have comprehensive features, but implementation costs range from tens of thousands to millions of NT dollars, and they require long-term IT support. For most Taiwan small-to-medium export traders, the barrier is too high. A more practical way to evaluate is to estimate the labor hours you waste each month on manually modifying quotations, reopening PIs, and confirming terms back and forth, then weigh whether those costs justify using an off-the-shelf tool. If your buyer count is growing, transaction volumes are high with small individual values, or your team cannot expand further, the ROI for these tools is usually reasonable. The key is not how powerful the features are, but whether it integrates directly with your existing ERP and workflow without requiring a system rebuild.
