EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) requires that seven commodities and their products—cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy, and wood—must be proven not to originate from forests cleared after 31 December 2020 before entering the EU market. Large and medium-sized enterprises must comply by 30 December 2026; micro and small enterprises by 30 June 2027. For Taiwan exporters, the most direct impact is on rubber products (tyres, inner tubes), wood products, paper, and wooden furniture. EU buyers must submit a Due Diligence Statement (DDS) in the EU information system, requiring you to provide geographic coordinates of raw material origins.
